Taxi fare calculator
A rough estimate based on the city tariff and distance. The real fare depends on the route, traffic and the driver — always agree the price before a longer trip.
How the estimate works
Most Bosnian cities use a metered tariff: a fixed amount to start, then a price per kilometre, with a higher night rate (typically after 22:00). This tool multiplies the city's published per-km rate by your distance and adds the start fee, then shows a small range around it — the real meter also counts waiting time in traffic. Figures in euros use the fixed peg 1 € = 1.95583 KM, never a floating exchange rate.
For airport runs and inter-city trips the meter is often not used — drivers quote a fixed price instead. For those, check the relevant route page for a realistic range and agree the total before leaving. There is no Uber or Bolt in Bosnia; see the local taxi apps.
